Singapore: SHOPPING/CHINATOWN

Singapore is the perfect place for great shopping. Full, full of Prada, Louis Vuitton, Gucci, Shopping Malls and possibly everything else, you can shop here till you drop. What’s more- at Prada and Miu Miu you may see even newer clothes than in Europe and US.
Chinatown is also a place to buy more than you have in your wallet. This nice, crowdy district is full of Chinese lampions, Made In China stuff and strange food. It’s pretty amazing how one huge cultural group fit on such small area! Really worth to see.

Singapore, city of high fashion has one of the most amazing architectural gem in it’s collection- specially designed Louis Vuitton store on Marina Bay Island. This store has three floors of luxury bags, shoes, menswear and womenswear. Full for art pieces and typical LV logo, the store shows off pure luxury. Known for it’s glass construction and geometrical form, it’s called a tourist attraction! Awesome place…

SINGAPORE, HELLO!

20140216-095311 PM.jpg

Singapore, the city of technology is not only known for the Infinity pool located at the top of Bay Marina but…Geoducks! Did you know something like this exist? I don’t know how to describe it- sticky, with a shell and shaped like one of the male’s organ… The sashimi made of it at the Long Beach restaurant was delightful. And this place is the best restaurant serving seafood in Singapore for about 70 years… If you visit to Singapore, you need to come here for some culinary experience. By the way- this place is crazy and so Avatar! My hotel (Marina Bay Sands) and the Super Trees look impressive.

Myanmar: PEOPLE OF INLE LAKE

20140214-095144 PM.jpg
The Inle Lake in Myanmar is the biggest ethnic mixture of beautiful people. It’s my last destination in Burma before Singapore and I am really overwhelmed. All people here are so happy, always with a smile! Women dress only in colours, with big amount jewellery and scarves (look at the Karen and Pao tribe!). Men do everything with joy, without hurry… And children are so cute! And funniest kid on Earth was the one with bamboo cages- he shouted “Bamboo, Bamboo!” and at the end threw both of them into water. Then he sat down, and put his finger into his nose. It made my laugh so much! Thank you Burma for beautiful time, and hope to see you soon!

Myanmar: INLE LAKE’s LIFE

20140213-063810 PM.jpg
The biggest lake in Myanmar is called the Inle Lake (22 km of length). It’s known for a very specific feature that it literally contains- here, you may observe the life style of inhabitants- the “Inthas” or “Sons of Lake” who live in the middle of the lake. Also, the unique style of fishermen rowing the boat by standing and rolling one leg around the paddle while holding their traditional cone shape fishing basket. This looks really amazing. We also visited the huge floating farms that looked totally like from Sci-Fi movies… that grew tomatoes and beans (that are really good). On the way, there was aslo a remarkable factory were the scarves are knitted out of lotus and silk… This type of production can be found only here! 20140213-064037 PM.jpg20140213-064048 PM.jpg20140213-064053 PM.jpg20140213-064111 PM.jpg
