Andreas Murkudis store in Berlin is definitely not the one that you will find in a shopping guide. I found this place thanks to Instagram, and I am really happy that I was there! The store is located not directly on the street, but in a stone house center. The walls there are pale white with neon lights all over the place. Labels like Celine, Margiela, Dries Van Noten, Kolor and Aesop are all in this huge space! And by the way… Not on perhaps, I arrived at an amazing fashion show of young, Berlin based designers, who were all here because of Woolmark reward! The gowns, sweaters and everything there was so out of this world… Just have a look at this very artistic world located in one store on Potsdamstrasse 81E.

Berlin: Hamburger Bahnhof
–Body Pressure– Sculptures since the 1960’s examines the many different approaches to the human figure in contemporary sculpture through a selection of works from the collections of the National Galeries in Berlin. Free of any exhibition architecture, the expansive Historic Hall is transformed into a light-flooded “sculpture garden”. Often fragmented and abstract the figurative sculpture of the present always negotiates our contemporary social and cultural context.

Hamburger Bahnhof, one of the National Galleries in Berlin, is a huge concentration of modern art by the most famous artist like Marc Quinn, Marina Abramovic or Andy Warhol. With it’s amazing space and architecture, the museum is Berlin’s biggest modern art highlight! Always you can find here a fantastic exhibition just like the Body Pressure that is currently happening. Maison’s Crystalizing
At the Maison Martin Margiela X Swarovski collaboration during the MMM couture show, I was shocked how much phisics and science can change fashion. These crystal elements attached to the latex boots and bracelets are not simply sticked with glue- no, on this occasion, Maison Martin Margiela did in fact debut something completely new. They worked with Swarovski and their new Crystalactite technology to create pieces of jewellery that glinted at you on the catwalk as cuffs clasped around shiny riding boots. The new innovation in the fact that it’s the first time Swarovski have fused crystal and white resin together without the use of glue creating a hybrid material that looks like it might have naturally grown that way over time. Margiela was the first ever house invited to such experiment and used inspiration from stalactites formations (hence the hybrid name) grown in caves. NOW AVAILABLE at COLETTE

Most Artsy Accesssories for SS14
The SS14 Fashion Month recently ended, so now the thing that feels right is to filter everything from every show- from skirts to bags, from sunglasses to socks. While you can see like most of accessesories from the shows in the web, I thought of a selection of my favourite trend of the season. While the Frieze is happening, the most Artsy list of shoes and backs feel totally in the right place. So just feed your eyes on these masterpieces! And the art I used as backround is Jeff Koons. Of course.

New Alaia Store Opening

The long-waited store of Alaia have just opened close to the Avenue Montaigne in Paris. And this is a great occasion because within the day of the opening, Mr. Azzedine Alaia had his amazing exhibition too presented in the Palais Galliera on the same day. The master of perfect dresses that show the sexiest parts of women body, has a really winning year… Now wonder why- he is a real fashion icon, and it’s not a surprise that the designer who has a privilege to show his new collections whenever he wants, is having a second store in Paris opened. The first was his house/studio were you could meet him and see him work ( I was once lucky to have a chance of saying bonjour Mr. Alaia!) on Rue Moussy, and now it’s just next to all these big houses, few meters from Av. Montaigne. And the new boutique is amazing- the design, the colours, the CLOTHES… Simply, I want to Paris!
