Kate Bush Mood. Chloe AW15

_A2X0118

Kate Bush was the woman which inspired Claire Wright Keller, the designer of Chloe this fall. Gypsy-esque dresses, bandanas, babooschka-like coats – a beautiful boheme and homage to the iconic singer. The patchworked poncho worn by Caroline Trentini was a blast. The suede dresses with cute lace details brought romantic attitude. Anja Rubik, with her killer double-walk looked perfect. Too much compliments? Well. The collection was simply great. Bravo!

Sunny Winter. Isabel Marant AW15

011-isabel-marant

Isabel, tell us – where should we go this winter, to wear knitted sweaters and shorts at the same time? Sheer mini-dresses? Even Paris is too cold for this type of extreme. Well… but if we forget about the European weather conditions, then I must admit one thing – the collection is good, and it really gives a leg. The knee-and-up boots which might warm you up already seem to be the next season’s must-haves. Anja Rubik looked stunning in the pleated mini-skirts. The poncho-like tunics and navajo-printed jackets are favourites, too. “I’m not 20, and I don’t have a butt like these girls do” she said after being spotted in one of the collection’s flesh-exposing pieces. Still, she was looking pretty hot herself. And confidence is the best accessory.

#TBT: Frida’s Disco for Gucci AW09

The top halves were either kimono T-shirts or, for evening, tiny, drapey iridescent-crystal mesh dresses (inspired by Tina Chow, according to program notes). With the slicked-back hair, crimson lips, and mirrored shades, it was hard glamour for hard times, with the occasional half glance back at Tom Ford’s heyday in a blue fox chubby or a skimpy one-shoulder black jersey dress with a slice of patent in the neck.
