That wasn’t just another colourful season for Rosellini Jardini at Moschino. As Franco Moschino asked 30 years ago “What is fashion?”, now the current designer of stated the same question for the 30th Anniversary collection of Moschino! Wow, that is a real tripled milestone for a label like that! From that occasion, Jardini prepared an amazing collection presented on her beautiful Milanese friends and favourite models that wasn’t about new hearts, checks and smiles. It was a collection made of archive’s biggest Moschino hits- the shopping bag dress, chain jacket, cow dress and teddy bear hat! The mix of that was much better than usual Moschino collection. I felt my fashion memories were refreshed! Possibly, the full collection, like for example my fav shopping bag dress, will surely not arrive in stores, but this swimming suit would be surely a bestseller. People like “limited edition” stuff!

Art of Miuccia. Prada SS14

Milan Fashion Week has always one label that I would most love to see first. And it’s of course Prada. But what kind of Prada- Miuccia really outdid herself for Summer 2014. The collection was all about Italian modern artists, and specifically, Italian female artist. The venue of the show was all covered with a kind of graffiti representing women in different sceneries- one in a jungle, second in a pink background. But all of them had one thing in common- their edgy way of dressing!
First look, first impressions- difficult colours for Summer and prints of women on skirts. Wow. Then embroideries. Then fur (just like Summer ago. Yes, this collection about geishas…) coats and again amazing prints. I thing this is one of the most collector edition season by Miuccia- well, every collection of Prada is like a limit edition, but this is really the type that is just begging to be found in wardrobe. Even one of these cute clutches or pair of these crazy shoes! This collection is simply… A piece of art that can be worn one women! Applause for Prada!!! ❤❤❤
England. Mary Katrantzou SS14

Mary Katrantzou’s SS14 collection was all about… Yeah, prints and… England! The queen of prints again mastered this what she does best, and this happened- brogues (type of shoes for men that are hand-made in England) and lots of English gardens appeared on fantastic dresses created by Mary. The collection indeed is very beautiful- I really like the topic of shoes covering dresses- that sounds a bit strange. But this V neck dress looks really good. The next dresses covered all over with fairy-tale gardens looked too amazing. Jackets, tops and trousers looked like flower-bombs and additionally decorated with printed gems, it looked even more spectacular. What’s most exciting about this collection, is that all these prints are so 3-D… And at the same time they don’t make the women silhouette visually look fatter! Why? It’s all thanks to amazing Mary Katrantzou.
Easy-To-Go. Rag & Bone SS14
The Summer collection of the casual label Rag & Bone from New York is one of these that are always best for… life! What I loved in this season at Rag & Bone was the easiness of all the dressesm jacket and tops… The colours were really light- beautiful shades of blue, pink, violet and orange were seen mixed with classical black and white. And the must-have’s from Rag & Bone are definetely the black and white knitwears and these beach dresses- they looked great on the models! And there is also a small beauty note that will be hit this season…. it’s the orange lips! Yes, all the models had their lips in neon orange colour that looked refreshing and really eye-catchy! Let the Easy-to-go style rule the Summer season!

Hand Painted Majesty

Holly Fowler is a name to watch in London fashion scene- this girl has something really fresh and at the same time traditional to offer! To be clear. Holly is not doing prints, trench coats, Tartan plaids nor feather and high tech innovations. It’s all about… Hand-painted dresses! Sounds kind of stereotypical, but it looks so refreshing and new! The painted frescos on long minimalistic dresses, leather jackets and skirts look fantastic with their strong colours! Fowler also did to big collaborations- one with bags and dresses for Browns London, where a simple leather bag had a realistic print, and second one for Bergdof Goodman in New York! Really, the effect is mesmerising. This is real fashion- it really feels new, but it is still something wearable and at the same time at level of haute couture… In pretty affordable prizes!
