Alaia, Kate and Le Marais

A day at Le Marais, the Jewish District, is like a day in other world, but still in Paris! It all began with Rue Moussy 7 where a mind blowing Azzedine Alaia boutique and studio are located. Here Stephanie Seymour and Naomi Campbell come and try out new designs of master of craft and laser cut! It was before a warehouse, now a huge boutique full of clothes and dresses. On second floor there is the studio where magic happens! The “shop” of Alaia is totally decorated with beautiful furnitures and art pieces.

Why is “Kate” in the title of this post? Because of the painting I saw in a gallery today! It shows of course Kate Moss naked holding a big pink teddy bear. She stands in a totally pink toilet looking at the viewer with a sexy look, just in ties and super high heels. A wish it could hung in my house!

Le Marais, as I said, is a Jewish district in Paris. It’s like SoHO in NY but not so great! Today there was really no people so it was quite boring, but still the shops there are amazing! For example L’Eclaireur. It holds labels like Comme des Garcons, Rick Owens, Thom Browne and Dries Van Noten in a big store that is loft like (also a copy of SoHO) and has a great vintage hourse in the middle! And the shoes I bought… Wow I just will sleep with them. They are hand made in England, Brighton and the label is Paul Harnden, Shoemakers. The print on it is cool isn’t it?

What I love insane in Le Marais are… Graffiti’s! They are really crazy! A cherry blossom, press killer, Keith Haring… Just amazing! You can really fell in love with them easily- you walk around and see them on every Marais street!

Zurich: Fidelio, local art and more…

Fidelio is a magic place in Zurich. Why? Because there is this equation: ACNE+MARCELO BURLON+COMME DES GARÇONS=AMAZING SHOP! All the clothes there were marvelous. My beloved piece was the Marcelo Burlon t-shirt with red snakes! I was looking for it like for ages. Then there were also cool Acne boots with turquoise sole… That they were too big for me. I hope they will wait for me next year… And they are on SALE! What’s more; I fell in love with this overloose Comme des Garcons coat with zippers. But it was really unpractical. However the biggest happiness gave me that I could see it! Here are pics of the biggest highlights:

And now of the phenomen of Zurich- in big amount of shops there are those small, cute puppies! And the sweetest one of all was the York from Agent Provocateur.

And the outfit of Lena- Shirt by Schumacher, Skirt by Lanvin, cardigan by Prada, stockings by Alaia, shoes by Isabel Marant

And the street art- Twinkle Bell, this yellow, small, flying elf. It was painted on one of the walls of houses.

Paris: Day 5

20121106-072313 PM.jpg

Today wasn’t really an energetic day full of celebs and so on, however there was a lot of walking… In the lobby of Mandarin Oriental, there were some beautiful roses! They had such a beautiful scent… 20121106-065419 PM.jpg
And then was the best thing… I bought an amazing, over sized coat by Kenzo! It is made from wool and it is in real Parisian Style.

Then after a poor lunch in Heriard, on Place Madelaine there was a new window of Chanel with Little Black Jacket. And then we enter to trendy A.L.C were I found some nice, modern clothes in quite low prices.

After, I found the minimalistic shops of Comme des Garcons on Saint Honore. There was a CdG Museum full of strange and edgy designs! Next to it there was a shop of Damir Doma the new star of fashion. The boutique was really interesting, full of wood, concrete, black and grey. The clothes that were a bit sporty and dark were really expensive.

Then, quickly ran to the Celine boutique, that is also full of minimalism and concrete. There Lena bought a new Celine sweater and a knitted dress. Oh, and before it, we visited Christian Louboutin. And we had to stand in a really, really long line to enter there. In reality, there was nothing special, except the Japonais Loafers…

And here is my old hotel on Av. Montaigne, Plaza Athenee Hotel.

WOW! Le Substance Agape is a marvelous restaurant. We were all sitting together behind on table with other people. I met so much new people! And about the food: delicious! And crazy…
