“In my dreamlike journey you can find the essence of the mystique cycle second chapter.  Getting lost in the collective unconsciousness, and only far away from that place, getting the meaning. As in a dream, Narcissus’ and Tuberose’s bodies in flower, tell the way through the birch forest step by step, where the animal lives and people celebrate the fairy tale ritual, spiritual and mental place of perfume. There are distant places in the world that are linked together by a thin, imaginary thread. I have tried to create a fragrance for this invisible bond, I have found a heart in flower in the forest, I have listened to the animal speaking, I have seen the end of the day, I have found out perfumed signs of the past, I have found the meaning in my native soil. I have reached Thelema. The magic of nature hides in the secret of words.  Number 93 represents this journey’s mystic key.  The smell is a soul that shapes our shadow.”

It’s November, and what’s better than an autumn-wardrobe update? Here is my editorial for Concept 21 Store, which has just received a new delivery from N21. Mohair sweaters with feather appliqué, comfortable denim trousers and uber-cool hoodies designed by Italian designer, Alessandro Dell’AcQua, are all here, looking at their best. All photographs were taken inside and in the vicinity my favourite cheesecake & coffee place, Piece of Cake. Enjoy.

Autumn in Concept 21

Howdy! My favourite place in Poznan, Concept 21, is all steady-and-ready for autumn! New arrivals from Milan-based brands, N021 and Stella Jean, are all about warm sweaters, bold dresses and great denim. The hand-made shoes from Italy by Coliac are the must-haves of the season. And all of that is scented with niche fragrances from Meo Fusciuni, that are sold only in this place in Poland. However, I can’t forget about the absolutely ecological cosmetics from ILA SPA that keep our faces and bodies always clean and “pure”. I know this might sound as some kind of extreme favourism, but this is the best place (and at least concept store) in Poznan.

Patio Situation

For Concept 21‘s Instagram (@concept21store, check it out!), I took a few photographs of Ania from Piece of Cake – an adorable cafe with delicious coffee by The Barn and great cheese-cakes, baked every morning by the owners. This time, we styled the new arrivals for Pre-Fall 2015 by No21. The runway mohair sweater and mini-skirt with a bow look beautiful together… just like the quiet patio which is on the back of this lovely place. With brick walls, wild ivy and vintage stools from local flea markets, this patio is a go-to for an ultimate tune-out during the warm days.

No21 RE16 in Paris

Being the buyer for Concept 21 Store in Poznan, Poland, it is always great to visit showrooms! This time, the main aim of my trip to Paris was the re-see of No21‘ s Resort 2016 collection.This time, Alessandro Dell’Acqua fused many themes at a time – the marine chic which involved stripes; ethnic prints and oriental textiles (look at the canvas shoes and the african mask print on cardigans!). All of that brought on the idea of perfect “tropical escape” wardrobe. The midi skirt with a sexy cut looked truly gorgeous with that over-sized chunky sweater while the warm colour of curcuma gave a laid-back mood. In overall, Dell’Acqua is known for his talent of mixing feminine silhouttes with masculine forms – the sailor jacket is the must-have of the collection, combined with one of these crispe checked skirts. This collection is an essential highlight of Alessandro’s fashion career becuase it smartly shows No21’s signatures in a very refreshing order. And the Parisian location for the brand’s showroom has one of the best views I have ever seen. Just like the wonderful, marble corridor.
