Then comes the time of resurrection, the light becomes more intense, hotter, the silhouette is more complete, glitter, lamé, fur are mixed on evening dresses, coats and boleros. The materials are divine and ostentatious but the style is uncluttered, only few pieces but all comfortable. Boa made from luxurious real mink fur, reworked to achieve the look of an actual pelt, with button eye detailing.” This fox boa that first time came out on Marc Jacobs runway, shocked everyone. No wonder why- it looked real good from far, and everybody found sweet and cute. But when I found this on Colette today, all my view destroyed on that item. This looks like if MJ stole this muppet from a child! No way, don’t buy it. Disapointed!

Russian Forests. Vika Gazinskaya AW’14
Yesterday when I saw Vika’s Gazinskaya new collection for autumn-winter I fell in love with her. Vika is a Russian seriously talented designer that is known for street style aestethics, graphical prints and minimalistic silhouttes. This season it was pretty mature with a youth vibe that gave these little foxy muppets! Lots of beautiful coats, paper jewellery (Gazinskaya classics), leather, ruffles were seen. And what’s more, in the lookbook the model that wore the clothes was standing in real snow and had a deep, dark forest behind her… This collection is so beautiful and awesome. Love it. And you?
The fox topic was my favourite one in collection. You can chose from a muppet scarf or a mini fashionable fox costume! And thanks god, Vika is more eco, opposite to Ulyana Sergeenko, and uses faux fur! So no harm! And effect? Even better than with real fur.
Sad that Vika together with her fashion Russian mafia- Miroslava Duma, Elena Perminova and Anya Zhiorouvna- already show all the clothes during fashion week… There was no real surprise unfortunately, but still, Vika Gazinskaya is a great designer.
Vika Gazinskaya and Marc Jacobs: The Furry Friends
The 2013/14 season is really full of fur! After Altuzarra and Alexander Wang who showed their fur gloves (these are gonna be a real must have!) and coats, Donna Karan and Jason Wu had their beautiful fur scarves, and the best of all who really challanged the fur trend was Marc Jacobs! In his romantic collection he shown amazing furry scarves but with real foxy faces and tails! 
But then, few days later, Buro 24/7, a really good fashion site by Miraslava Duma, took us behind the scenes of Vika Gazinskaya show that will soon come in Paris. Vika Gazinskaya really messed up this year, she is available on colette and soon on net-a-porter.com. So coming back to the topic, Vika showed her collection and it was full of… scarves with foxy faces, but in a eco way! She says that it’s idea of respect for the animal but in a fashionable way! “I believe that fashion can make not only the skins of dead animals, but their clever imitation” and this is what she said in her interview. And I can’t say it’s copying Marc Jacobs or something- both ideas looking the same but still, have different message.
