Nicola Formichetti has made me impressed! This time everything was clean structured, warm and easy to go. There was a “modern comeback” of 40’s because of the sweaters with cool looking hoods. There were very neutral colours, like beige, pink and white, but the highlight was for sure the top with orange like fur on it! Looked so moderned! Perfect for street style. Nice, Mugle
Fur
Beginning. Balenciaga AW13
After waiting about four months without knowledge of how will new Balenciaga under the wings of Alexander Wang look like, today in the morning, in Paris, the show began. The whole setting was in a old, but renovated Parisian building with white marble, huge mirrors, black and white tiles and spiral stairs. It gave a feeling of Balenciaga at time of Cristobal. So taking the seat with Olivier Zahm camera the show begins!
It all begins with a typical Wang touch- a elegant t-shirt, black trousers, fur and mostly casual elegance. But thanks god Wang didn’t do it all in a New York way- indeed it was all so Paris! Alexander Wang continued the sophisticated minimalism of Ghesquiere with super cool fur sweatshirts that looked like white marble and black dresses with open back… Sexy but delicate.
The furry sweatshirts are this seasons my favourite! They look so street style and modern! Mixed with laced leather leggins and a leather head decoration it is great! Only Wang could do it! And what about the shiny elegant dress code? I see it already on Carine Roitfeld, the real queen of french elegance!
The new model of bag is for sure the one from python witha a classical closing. It is a comfortabel handbag that is easy to wear but at the same time ideal for every event! The hit of the show was for sure the greenish jacket with shirling on sleeves and the complete of sweater with skirt that was toatally embroidered with something that looked like paisleys! Shiny!

Congratulations to Alexander Wang! Really the collection was great! I think, that Balenciaga from now on will not change diametrically, but it will be more sporty and hopefully better quality!
Woman. Prada AW13

Miuccia Prada is a fashion genius. If her collections are beautiful, they are beautiful. If their are ugly, they are also beautiful! The Winter 2014 collection was the one that classified into the beautiful one! And it really was! I am always excited about Prada shows, so I saw it livestream on style.com! And I felt like if I was there. The show that had a moving film on walls, started with a black dress with a cut out triangle on shoulders that was realeated in many other colours and in metallic shades.

A really cool thing was the furry… Don’t how to call it… The models were wearing it on the back between hands. It gave a femine, mature look, however it was mixed with grunge boots. Miuccia also put into the collection brownish-khaki stripes that looked smart casual. And again there was this dress with the shoulders thing! It looks spectacular!

I loved the look that Saskia de Brauw wore- the midi red leather skirt, black top and blue coat. Looked so romanic and 40’s! And the colour I was stunned with was the tourquoise- it was like everywhere! Whole collection was highly inspired with 40’s and 50’s. The alligator leather, fur and strong colours are indicating this! So are we going back to basics?

Metallic dresses… Yes! In gold and silver tones! Some pink colour came on the runway that made the sweet girl effect. However this sweet girl was killed by the elegant but grungy look that was made thanks to the incredible boots.

Prada put on rich and luxury as most of the designers for this season. The ending look was top- a big coat made out of Sobol! It looked so mind blowing! I think, every Prada’s collection tells it’s own remarkable story. This season had one of the best!
Punk Fur. Fendi AW13
The second day of Milan Fashion Week is nearly finished and Fendi showed it’s collection. And lots of things happened during the show! Lots of designers used fur for this season, but no one interprated like Silvia Fendi and Karl Lagerfeld! It was a colour bum mixed up with a great dose of punk and energy! First thing that really made me stunned were the head coverings- at first they look like a futuristic hairstyle, and then it is a small furry ball! Going into the clothes- these were masterpieces! The tops were multi coloured with pink, yellow and blue fur the same as enormous coats! The bags were also extra-vagant!
However more neutral colours like beige and black were also seen. My favourite look of the whole show is definetly the second one from the second picture! The top is overloose with patchwork of beige and yellow shades of fur! It had also a amazing red line under that gave a sharp look! Fendi used black in more classical styles- fur with leather or only leather. And that’s right: too much of something is never healthy!
Then there was also a whole serie of amazing mix of brown, grey and orange- a very refreshing mix for winter! The without sleeve fur was a real highlight because it did look stunning. I loved the blue colour splash- it wasn’t a dull blue, but a deep and “new” colour! The round skirt made out of totally from fur was really awesome and the overloose sweatshirt from fur with a big cut? This is a real elegance on street!
Pop It. Tom Ford AW13

Tom Ford, that is now having a rebirth of his label that was for time being making cosmetics, and really long time ago was creative director of Gucci, is debuting with his third collection on London Fashion Week. Now I’m saying this. He is my favorite of the week. His collections are for real, they’ve got fur in great amounts (sorry PETA and eco fans), luxury embroinment on skirts and pants with Chinatown inspired flowers from the elegant lounges and clubs for elite. After a serie of super luxury sportwear with animal print a bit of black minimalism came on amazing sweaters.

Ford was also inspired with Neons/pop art. Just look at the dresses and jackets! These Kapow patterns that are known from Roy Lichtenstein art are mind blowing. And what’s very Tom, is that he didn’t put these Kapow’s everywhere- no he used it in subtel, delicate amount, mostly on maxi gowns.

When the furs came around I thought to myself “Altuzarra and Prabal Gurung, take notes or run away”! The long, higly tailored coats with laser cut leather and white fur were breath taking! I was jst stunned.

And the funniest part of the show was when the “zebras” came! The long evening gowns with sequined stripes in black and white were so classical but modern! Really the collection left me in many points totally stunned. And I was feeling, like if the models came out from a elite and luxury lounge somewhere in London, decorated in Chinese like ornaments and 60’s- 70’s prints… Tom Ford collection was BEST from whole London Fashion Week!
