This place is my second home. Instead of a hotel, I could book a night at Celine.

Being the buyer for Concept 21 Store in Poznan, Poland, it is always great to visit showrooms! This time, the main aim of my trip to Paris was the re-see of No21‘ s Resort 2016 collection. This time, Alessandro Dell’Acqua fused many themes at a time – the marine chic which involved stripes; ethnic prints and oriental textiles (look at the canvas shoes and the african mask print on cardigans!). All of that brought on the idea of perfect “tropical escape” wardrobe. The midi skirt with a sexy cut looked truly gorgeous with that over-sized chunky sweater while the warm colour of curcuma gave a laid-back mood. In overall, Dell’Acqua is known for his talent of mixing feminine silhouttes with masculine forms – the sailor jacket is the must-have of the collection, combined with one of these crispe checked skirts. This collection is an essential highlight of Alessandro’s fashion career becuase it smartly shows No21’s signatures in a very refreshing order. And the Parisian location for the brand’s showroom has one of the best views I have ever seen. Just like the wonderful, marble corridor.
I love roses. And when I see a hotel or a restaurant filled with them, I am instantly a sucker for this place. That is why Hotel Costes stole my heart during the first visit (a long, long time ago…). The interiors of this bourgeoisie-styled spot is nearly drowning in red, pink and white roses. And add to that all those velvet arm-chairs and cushions, palm trees and beautiful outdoor patio… Hotel Costes is not only a hotel, but a casual restaurant where all the Parisians meet with super-stars – during my last stay (the day Saint Laurent had its SS16 menswear show), Pierce Brosnan, Lenny Kravitz and Johnny Hallyday were all there, having a dinner. Without any bodyguards. Can you believe that? It was a great pleasure to eat a “new style” tuna tatare in a great place with really GREAT people.

The first place I visited in Paris was the brand new Alaia boutique which welcomed me with a beautiful view, full of green serenity. Monsieur Azzedine opened his outdoor patio! And this means, that the summer in Paris has officially started (having in mind its 40 deegrees today). Also, it is possible to have a cup of coffee while searching for sale treasures. Referring to himself as a ‘builder’ rather than a fashion designer and known as the King of Cling, the Tunisian-born designer’s seductive creations are favourites of Parisians.

When you walk into Laura, you have a feeling that you are inside of a spaceship. The sci-fi wall panels (which look like white orchidees) and a Star Trek lamp catches your attention from the very first moment. And then, you realize that the clothes are as extravagant as the interior…. Laura is the only place in Warsaw where you can find the latest Comme des Garcons and Rick Owens. Insane runway dresses, super cool leather jackets, plastic cowboy shoes and many, many more are here. This place should definitely be on the list of Rei Kawakubo fans who enjoy avant-garde!
