Christophe Lemaire is definitely one of the hot names in Paris. He is designing for Hermes, and his own, beautiful label, making both of the houses minimalistic and fresh. At Hermes, Christophe took us to the jungle- but in very luxurious way. More, you wouldn’t go to the jungle in one of these jumpsuit, but live in one of these luxurious hotels with villas… Presented in a beautiful environment with lots of palms and trees, the collection was a mix of practical resort life and luxurious Hermes heritage. And if looking to the Lemaire’s line, we may be still located around the palm trees, but in a beautiful living room in one of Saint Honore apartments in Paris. SS14 for Christophe Lemaire was all about Parisian chic cut with a twist of exotic life. And the shoes… They really look awesome!

What I love most about Paris Fashion Week’s beginnings, are the collection of all these emerging designers… Well, I lobe the Chanel-Celine part too, but the first one is so… Modern, elegant and elusive! After Julien David’s and Anthony’ Vaccarello’s presentation I want even more of this kind of talents- and here is one- Christophe Lemaire! This young Parisian that for few seasons is an art director at Hermes RTW, is known for his minimalistic Elegance aesthetics… And best presentation venues. This season it’s an super chic Summer living room with palms and curtains… It really works out with the collection for me! I am simply in love with all that beige on coats and this green jumpsuit… So tres chic!

Urban Jungle. Tibi SS14

On the third day of New York Fashion Week, I can say, that the designers calmed down after last year’s colour splash and print madness! Tibi SS14 is the best example of that. This New York based label that prices are very affordable didn’t really shock, but it did really remind as all about Summer paradise! The green jumpsuits, kaleidoscopic jungle prints and comfortable sandals were the right shot for next season. There were also these minimalistic leather black jackets, over-large safari trousers and the beloved orange dress- so light and perfect for beach… Summer, comeback, please! 💚🌴💚🌴💚🌴 P.S. I love this season in New York!

Tilda Swinton in Cannes

While all the stars like Anne Hathaway or Laetisia Casta wear their Dior’s and Valentino’s Couture gowns, Tilda Swinton never go on the easier path. I mean, she looks easier (not so tired like Uma Thurman in this silver Versace dress), but much more stylish. Tilda breaks all stereotypes of a costume at a big Gala. We will not see her in Gucci nor Chanel, but in… Haider Ackerman! Just like this time! Swinton, that look a bit like David Bowie, reminds me of stylish rock and roll in this sequined golden jumsuit by Paris based designer. She is my definite number one this year at Cannes Festival!
