The winners of ANDAM Fashion Award, Sebastien Meyer and Arnaud Vaillant created a chic label which is on everybody’s lips right now in Paris. The brand’s signatures? Sharp tailoring, interesting detailing and sophisticated, Margiela like silhouettes. The AW14 look-book is also full of nice blazers and pants… and even if the collection might feel dull for some people, there is this red outfit at the end – and it perfectly reflect Parisian chic.

Printed Girl: Helen Bullock

20131107-114151 AM.jpg
Helen Bullock, coming from London’s Central Saint Martins, is a textile and fashion designer whose works and illustrations were published on Dazed Digital, I-D and Vogue throughout the seasons. Using strong silhouettes as a platform for bold prints of a visceral nature, her Summer 2014 collection is simply amazing. With sharp cuts, strong colours and interesting textiles, Bullock is a designer whose name can’t be forgot. “Helen’s work is full of vibrance, energy and spirit. Her clothes radiate a sense of confidence, both in proportion and application of line. She is a true creative force, and produces work with a beautiful timeless quality” as said Julie Verhoeven, a supporter of Helen’s work. Together with the beautiful model Frances Rose Knee and photographer Chloe Oretice, the look book for SS14 is full of structured tank-tops and patterns that we really love. Hopefully, soon, we will hear even more of Helen Bullock!

Cedric Charlier’s Colour Blocking

Slide1-kopia 3Belgian designer Cedric Charlier’s eponymous label boasts clean, sporty cuts in a rainbow of bright hues, colour block patterns and abstract prints this Resort 2014 season. As Cedric is a pretty new name in Parisian fashion scene, he already has an eye on the future. How not to love these easy-going dresses, funny prints and comfortable suits in these Summer colours? I feel powerless to that.

SACAI, the Shooting Star.

zdjęcie 1Chitose Abe’s label Sacai is one of those brands that existed under the radar, quietly getting on things and evolving with every season! 14 years to be precise to erupt into fashion world with all these hot events, grand changes and new trends making each other even more different. But no, Sacai is not a label of type that likes to be ugly nor difficult to wear- Karl Lagerfeld said, that this Fall his favourite label is definetly Sacai. No wonder why- Sacai, as everything Japanese, is artistic (like Comme des Garcons and Junya Watanabe) but at the same time, it’s certainly for wearing, and not hanging in the wardrobe! It’s lace biker jackets from SS13 were bestsellers last season at Colette and Montaigne Market. This label is is so hot right now, it has even a new, big section at Dover Street Market in London! 6a00d83451f3fc69e2017c374cff06970b-800wi6a00d83451f3fc69e2017d3c8d59c6970c-800wi1307_sacai6a00d83451f3fc69e2017d417c3526970c-800wi6a00d83451f3fc69e2017c374d04e6970b-800wizdjęcie 4_ARC0104.450x675sacai-ss13-2The AW13 collection of that amazing Japanese label is all about hybradized mash-ups that just don’t get boring in case of Sacai. “This was another outstanding outing for the Japanese designer, one that once more demonstrated how sensitive she is to the conceptual-commercial mix. Her trick this season was to choose iconic—predictable, even—Fall staples and spin them into something genuinely desirable. Trenchcoats, English hunting suits, skiwear, and biker jackets were the pieces in question. In Abe’s hands, they looked both familiar and surprising.” Wrote Nicole Phelps about the collection. And what’s interesting, Chitose was working and studying at Junya Watanabe studio- it kind of feels a bit Watanabe in this collection, isn’t it? One is for sure- Sacai is a hit of the moment!zdjęcie 2Sacai - Paris March 20136a00d83451f3fc69e2017d417c19bd970c-800wiSTZ21SACAI3_356979k_ARC0104.450x6756a00d83451f3fc69e2017c374d104d970b-800wizdjęcie 3sacai-ss13-1Sacai - Paris March 20136a00d83451f3fc69e2017d417c3b10970c-800wi_ARC0283.450x675

Berlin: Schumacher Love

zdjęcie 3The beautiful Schumacher boutique is located in the Quartet 206 building, next to stores of Moschino and Brille 54. But first of all, what is Schumacher? No it’s not one of these not popular Parisian labels or something else this type. It’s super famous German label that is known for beautifully made clothes in pretty low prices! All German women have something from Schumacher, and it’s on the level of Miu Miu! Schumacher is design by Miss Dorothee Schumacher, that as she says, designs clothes for women to be completing their looks. Totally agree because every women wering this Berlin based label looks stylish and warm. Just as their woolen sweaters and beautiful, cute dresses. Plus, it is not copying famous designers like Givenchy nor Prada- it has it’s own style, with cute prints and colourful stones attched on the collars and scarves! And this boutique over here is definitely the best of all- with a characteristic Schumacher wallpaper showing their circular packaging boxes, and warm, simpatic pastel colours used on sofas and chairs. Additionally, the service gives you some free Schumacher water! Friedrichstraße 71 in the Quartet 206 zdjęcie 4-kopiazdjęcie 4zdjęcie 2zdjęcie 1zdjęcie 1-kopia 2zdjęcie 4-kopia 2zdjęcie 1-kopiazdjęcie 2-kopia 2zdjęcie 3-kopia 2zdjęcie 1-kopia 3zdjęcie 2-kopiazdjęcie 3-kopia
