The 2013/14 season is really full of fur! After Altuzarra and Alexander Wang who showed their fur gloves (these are gonna be a real must have!) and coats, Donna Karan and Jason Wu had their beautiful fur scarves, and the best of all who really challanged the fur trend was Marc Jacobs! In his romantic collection he shown amazing furry scarves but with real foxy faces and tails!
But then, few days later, Buro 24/7, a really good fashion site by Miraslava Duma, took us behind the scenes of Vika Gazinskaya show that will soon come in Paris. Vika Gazinskaya really messed up this year, she is available on colette and soon on net-a-porter.com. So coming back to the topic, Vika showed her collection and it was full of… scarves with foxy faces, but in a eco way! She says that it’s idea of respect for the animal but in a fashionable way! “I believe that fashion can make not only the skins of dead animals, but their clever imitation” and this is what she said in her interview. And I can’t say it’s copying Marc Jacobs or something- both ideas looking the same but still, have different message.

Marc Jacobs
Love Affair. Marc Jacobs AW13
Marc Jacobs fall was a melancholic and beautiful love affair. It was inspired with The Film Noir and it was dipped like in a opium perfume. It was lady like and very sexual, delicate but with power. It was glamorous and sensual and it was totally taken out from iconic imagery of Lauren Bacall in her 1940’s finest. Luxury mink stoles, silk pajama’s like tops, pencil skirts, silky trousers, clingy knits, overcoats and wide lapels and T Strap heels (that are toatally in fashion this season) were presented.
The setting was also glamour and romantic. The moonlight and a dark, musky atmosphere… It was like the models came out from ultra luxury club, still have a scent of Yves Saint Laurent Opium perfume.
That was a really amazing ending of New York fashion week. All the collections that I wrote about were so unique and creative- however I should say mostly everything was very classical (the only collections that I didn’t like was Michael Kors. Donna Karan, Calvin Klein, Oscar de la Renta in collab with John Galianno that was too heavy and artificial as for the master of femine master and other designers like Ralph Lauren were also poor for me). And now, readers we are going to… Milan!

Paris: Day 4
The essential thing today was the Azzedine Alaia boutique on Rue Moussy. It’s connected with the workshop of Alaia and in past the shop was a warehouse of a commercial centre. And… I met Azzedine Alaia and said to him “Hello” and he answeared “Bonjour!” I was really excited about that… The clothes that were made by hand of Alaia and his workers are so beautiful and with such a good quality. I am so happy I was there… And here are some pics from the shop and clothes:

I am still really happy! The next person that I met was… Kate Winslet! OMG. OMG. OMG. That was so nice and short! I didn’t even have chance to take a photo. But here I’ve got a great photo of Lena in Celine, Gucci and Reed Krakoff:

And after I went to Diptyque store that sells candles and creams:

And then… COLETTE! Oh yes! It is a minimalist temple of cult of the ultra trendy Saint Honore. Colette is dedicated to modern high fashion, jewellery, as well as books, magazines and others fashionable objects. And the best part is the T-Shirt section and small articles and culture. Brands like Comme Des Garcons, Thom Browne, Mary Katrantzou, Marc Jacobs, Givenchy, Carven and Proenza Schoulers are there. I bought the Garage Magazine by Dasha Zhukova and the Impossible Project Polaroid Paper. What to say more: I love it as always.

After I was at the Yohji Yamamoto shop and DsQuared2. At the end there was the Chanel shop on Rue Cambon with the Cruise 2013 clothes.

For dinner I had L’Atelier Etoile on Champs Elysees. It was super! I loved it! I ordered four small degustative dishes: chicken with white truffles, black cod, scallops in pumpkin soup, burger with foie gras. Here are photos: PS This restaurant is the most trendy one in Paris and you sit behind a big bar.
New York Fashion Week SS12 Highlights
And here we’ve got the Fashion Week in New York Highlights. There was a huge variety of material, colourful, glamorous and really artsy!

At Proenza Schoulers we could see some snake lether, greens and reds and a lot of… ART! Just look at those printed dresses with photos and graphical polka dot!

Marc Jacobs gave as this season a big 60’s vibe. The dresses were glamorous and graphical. Abd beautiful colour shades.

Alexander Wang collection was a real adventure. The white dresses start to glow green at the end. And the loose pants and jumpers are the NEW GRUNGE style!

Acne used some rare colours and materials. The signs on the dresses showed what the brand likes.

Altuzarra is the best tailoring jacket master. Just have a look at those jackets. Those are masterpieces. And those blue jeweled dresses? Amazing
