Aspesi Store in Milan

DSC01060

Aspesi store in Milan is one of these spectacular places, that you want to visit as often as it’s possible. The ground-breaking contrast of marble columns and plastic box tables makes the store not only attractive, but also an experience. Although the clothes by Aspesi always seemed to be a bit boring for, the interior makes you forget about the “every wardrobe’s basics” – ethnic colours, bold cushions exuding with gypsy bohemia, crocodiles jutting out from the walls, grandiose metal panels and gorgeous hangers – all of this make me drool and think, that there are no more rules in designing a store or any other concept. Fantasy and creativity is the most important, and Aspesi architects approve.

Berlin: Andreas Murkudis

Processed with VSCOcam with hb1 preset

It’s definitely not the first time I am writing about Andreas Murkudis, but… this place in Berlin is a must-visit EVERYTIME. I just feel so refreshed after coming here. And, the sale just started here, so it’s a great occasion to catch up something from Dries Van Noten, Celine or Aspesi. Potsdammer Strasse 81E, Kreuzberg.

Cracow: Trzy Rybki

DSC00516.JPG

Trzy Rybki (Three Fish) is a restaurant situated in Hotel Stary (The Old Hotel), which is Cracow’s most fine place to be and to eat. The food here is simple, but with a twist of Asian & Polish fusion. I really enjoyed eating the tuna tatare- it was chopped in a way, that it seemed to look like pasta. And that wasabi sauce all around… Yum! If talking of the interior, Trzy Rybki is truly a star. Old, stone walls, glass, red roses and medieval wooden floor. Sounds simple, but the effect is stunning. That’s a first place you need to tick on your Cracow “to be” list.

Berlin: Grosz

20130727-103123 PM.jpg

The Grosz Restaurant is the hottest place in Berlin recently, with it’s majestic interior of a renovated old building on Kudammstarsse. The food here is a mix of European and Asian- you can try here the shrimps, octopuses and clumps in Tempura and also roasted veal with thyme sauce and seasonal vegetables! Maybe the service is rude, but the atmosphere is really beautiful and relaxing after a exhausting shopping day. All cutlery is by Meisel, so pretty exclusive, and on Summer you may sunbathe with some champagne and beef carpaccio in their elegant garden. What more, there is a cute patisserie next to… This restaurant beats all other ones in Berlin with it’s classic, a bit Art Deco design, and delightful cuisine!
