Seriously, this collection is perfect. Valentino outdid itself this season, creating a beautiful, cute collection for pre-fall’14. Filled with butterfly prints, orange shirling, lace gowns, feather details and forest animal theme, this is the ideal look-book for every occasion. Ornamental bags worn with simple boots, appliqued dresses toned by simple, sharp coats. My favourites are the column dress in olive and green, transparent gown with feather embroideries around the collar- this is a fairy-tale of beautiful clothing.

Pre-Fall 2014
Chic. Louis Vuitton Pre-Fall’14
Nicolas Ghesquiere will show his first collection for Louis Vuitton on March. So that means, that the pre-fall collection was designed by LV’s studio which smartly continued Marc Jacobs legacy and at the same time cleared some space for Ghesqiere- the collection can be defined with one word- chic. The casuality of this collection makes you want to wear it all now! The effortless style kept in these dresses and outfits is so tres chic…
Techno. Balenciaga Pre-Fall’14
It’s only a year since Alexander Wang is at Balenciaga, and his Pre-Fall’14 was the most confident of all. It mixed Cristobal Balenciaga’s silhouettes, Nicolas Ghesquiere high-tech inspirations and Wang’s own aestethics- the eternal black & white colour paltte. The collection is very elegant but at the same time good for every event- with some sexy cut out dresses and leather jackets accompanied by kaleidoscopic prints, Wang showed us how his techno-couture works every-time. What I loved was the marble effect used on dresses and blazers… Looks timeless!
New Fun. Moschino Pre-Fall’14
Everything was molto sexy, molto luxurious, molto funny at the first Jeremy Scott for Moschino collection. And there is no surprise what Moschino is like with Scott- crazy, quirky and definitely not ordinary. But the designs that emerged had a lot of charm—they made you smile. For exampe his trenchcoat with a negligee sewn on top. There were other smile efforts, too, like silk-satin tee, made to look like a giant garment tag and the stilettos seamed like baseballs, stamped “MOSCHINO Official Major League” on the heel. What do you think of new Moschino?
Pop-It. Acne Pre-Fall’14
Pre-Fall gets knocked as the most purely commercial season. But commercial needn’t mean boring, as Acne’s Jonny Johansson understands. “There was something earthy, in the most literal sense, about the way the designer mingled the textures of Persian lamb and felted or boiled wool with slick silk, leather, and neoprene; meanwhile, numerous wrapped, draped, and folded wool pieces looked like they’d been riffed off of beach blankets, the kind you wrap up in for a walk along the shore on a brisk day.” Certainly, this collection is cool.
