The Balenciaga cut out leather boots have just arrived! Lena already matched them up with her Falke pink socks, and the effect looks very rebel and grunge! These shoes are heaven. Although very hard because of the leather and metal elements, they are never out of fashion (even if Alexander Wang is at Balenciaga) and are classical models. So that’s really good then! And they make so much to think about… Plus, then picture under may give you clues where I am going to in two weeks… Just one thing still is quarrelled about. Are these Summer or Winter shoes? πβ€

πΉRosed Hair AW13 π

The hair at Alexander McQueen was a real masterpiece on head. Yes, maybe it was covered with a gold crown, but it was still visible… The curly “roses” on head coloured light blond looked stunning. And very romantic in a slightly romantic twist… The same kind of hairstyle was at Givenchy, where models had their hair in all colours- violet, orange, blue, pink. And it was created by Guido Palau, that as always striked his ideas in a very right context! The floral prints that were seen on the runway were a right match up for the colourful wigs!
The Anglican Romance

I’ve got a serious fuse about Alexander McQueen Pre-Fall, Menswear and Womenswear AW13. Sarah Burton’s Anglican inspired romantic dresses for Pre-Fall are pure gothic chic with the minimalistic ends and beautiful details. The menswear was full of strained glass print full of oranges and reds. And the smokings looked really great! But best of all was the ten look collection of the main line at women… The fur, feathers, pearls, leather… What a beautiful collection! I really love the Sarah Burton gothic influence, and the hairstyles are really great… More soon…
Xiao Li of The Marshmallows!

Xiao Li, a Chinese designer of RCA FASHION London is one of the most exciting designer of the year! Her amazing, over large costumes in a marshmalow colour palet are very precised and made in with high technology. Plump pastel silicone garments moulded from knitwear feature in this collection by Royal College of Art graduate Xiao Li. And this knitwear doesn’t look like a simple now, made by a grandma. It’s, I would say, looking like if it was blew up or something.
“Traditional knitwear is more soft and shapeless,” Li told Dezeen. “I wanted to find out a new way to present knitwear and was influenced by Modern architecture and 60s Balenciaga.”
It all sounds pretty sophisticated, but these mind blowing fabrics are very wearable and easy. “I wanted to make sure my collection is innovative but still wearable,” she said. And my fav look is the one with the pink dress with organza bottom- looks stunning. And the boots… Plastic rules!
Collection AW13: Saint Laurent
Saying that Hedi Slimane is lazy, as wrote Cathy Horyn, is a simple bah. A guy who redesigns everything from the logo to the showroom furnitures in his boutiques of Saint Laurent, doesn’t seem to be lazy at all. Hedi Slimane did a huge revolution at Saint Laurent and in fashion world, that seemed to be very peaceful comparing AW13 with the grunge/punk/Roc &Roll collection. And in reality, Slimane didn’t do this for more controversy- no, it’s all simply his aesthetics. When the designer of SL is not at work, he isn’t kissing Pinault’s ass for money but hangs out with friends/musicians in LA! So there is nothing that is done for more money. Well it is, but it’s not enforcing. People will still buy this kind of Yves Saint Laurent. So, Saint Laurent by Hedi Slimane wins the second place in AW13 ranking of best collections!
