Karen Walker did the most outstanding campaign of SS14 campaigns. The Visible Collection was inspired and styled by Kenyan artisans. What’s best, the eyewear is presented not on typical models, but on local, Kenyan people who really know how to wear these glasses… Matched with braids, African jewellery and colourful attitude, the collection’s sale will go on Kenyan fundaution that will help improve the schools and things needed there. I simply can’t get enough of this.

Marni SS14 wasn’t just about lazy prints and funny jewellery. The Milanese label known for it’s minimalistic approach, this season shocked with some seriously amazing flower embroidery! That was one beautiful coat, in reddish shades, that looked like a flowerbomb. Marni too thought of Summer comfortability- hats, sunglasses and light top for every occasion. The whole collection was kept in one simple colour- the salmon pink/creme pink that made everything look so easy and affordable!
Damir Doma X Mykita
The Mykita X Damir Doma collaboration for Croatian designer based in Paris eyewear line is all about beauty of simplicity. The sunglasses with rounded frames look very 60’s-70’s but in a much, much more minimalistic edition. Packed in a black box, these chic collaboration shades will give you the right, modern Parisian vibe to your casual outfit! Available on COLETTE.fr

RETROSUPERFUTURE or shortly SUPER, is a fresh eyewear label from France known for it’s vintage styled shades and amazing printing of inside part in their frames! When I saw them yesterday in INTHEMIDDLE in Biarritz, I fell in love with all of them. From classic black sunglasses to white ones with marble inside part, there is a huge selection from which we can choose.
All of them are of course hand made in Italy and are worn by Kanye West and Pharrell Williams. And what most excited me about them, were… The printed boxes in which these sunglasses are kept!
