Zankov Knitwear

Henry Zankov, an experienced, New York-based knitwear designer, concepted his namesake brand to inject a sense of playfulness, freshness and ease into men’s and women’s knitwear. Zankov is a knitwear collection that establishes a new visual and tactile language with a strong emphasis on color, touch, pattern and quality. Exquisite, natural fibers are juxtaposed with technical yarns and knit with a clean, minimal surface using specialist techniques. Luxurious brushed alpaca, high-twist viscose crepe and tubular cashmere blends are key yarns realized in horizontal knitting, intarsias and jacquards.  Quality and finish are paramount: the inside of each garment is just as important as the outside. The core of the brand is very much inspired by art, color, life and the street. Exploring a genderless and an uncomplicated way to wear knitwear, silhouettes are simple yet iconic, to be shared and cherished. Discover this brilliant brand here!

And here are some of my favourite Zankov knits you can get now: Samuel striped knitted cardigan in blue, Dale striped knitted sweater in green, Franken knitted sweater in yellow and Zeke striped sweater in red.

Knits Please. Ryan Roche AW16

02-ryan-roche-fall-2016-ready-to-wear

With her autumn-winter 2016, Ryan Roche proves that her label is not only about the best quality knitwear – it also thinks about other wardrobe essentials. But still, the quintessence of the brand is the signature, cable knit cardigan in pale pink colour. It’s here, as every season, and it doesn’t stop to look like the best sweater in the entire world. Although I haven’t seen any of Roche’s designs in life, I bet their woolly texture should be super soft. With a soft spot for cashmere, specifically, the designer delivered a look-book filled with cozy, knitted (of course) maxi-skirts. Moreover, the collection featured a burgundy dress – smells with Victorian era in here – made entirely thanks to the old-school, granny crotchet technique. It’s a smart, yet short escape from Roche’s minimal aesthetics. It’s distinctly visible that the New York-based designer does her best to move away from her knitted comfort zone, by introducing some graceful, lace pants and peach-pink fur jackets. Concluding, your next winter wardrobe is sincerely supplied with Ryan Roche’s AW16 collection, I guess.

Chic. Celine Resort 2014

Slide01

That was such surprise this morning to see the Celine Resort 2014 on their site! As Phoebe Philo didn’t let the collection to go out within others like Dior and Chanel because of Zara’s copying, Celine Resort 2014 was uploaded silently today at night. As nobody knows anything about it, by accident I saw the colledtion… and wow! The pre-collection is nothing like SS14- it’s kept in beiges, linen fabrics, fur and python. Yeah, fur. The furs were bigger than the ones in the AW13 collection! And everything out of mink… for Spring. The python leather vest looked pretty cool; the nurse dresses in pastel colours were cute; sweaters, sweatpants and coats were classical and simple. Very Celine and chic. Definitely this impressive collection is one of the best for Spring 2014… and the birkenstocks are again back in fashion!

Berlin: Schumacher Love

zdjęcie 3The beautiful Schumacher boutique is located in the Quartet 206 building, next to stores of Moschino and Brille 54. But first of all, what is Schumacher? No it’s not one of these not popular Parisian labels or something else this type. It’s super famous German label that is known for beautifully made clothes in pretty low prices! All German women have something from Schumacher, and it’s on the level of Miu Miu! Schumacher is design by Miss Dorothee Schumacher, that as she says, designs clothes for women to be completing their looks. Totally agree because every women wering this Berlin based label looks stylish and warm. Just as their woolen sweaters and beautiful, cute dresses. Plus, it is not copying famous designers like Givenchy nor Prada- it has it’s own style, with cute prints and colourful stones attched on the collars and scarves! And this boutique over here is definitely the best of all- with a characteristic Schumacher wallpaper showing their circular packaging boxes, and warm, simpatic pastel colours used on sofas and chairs. Additionally, the service gives you some free Schumacher water! Friedrichstraße 71 in the Quartet 206 zdjęcie 4-kopiazdjęcie 4zdjęcie 2zdjęcie 1zdjęcie 1-kopia 2zdjęcie 4-kopia 2zdjęcie 1-kopiazdjęcie 2-kopia 2zdjęcie 3-kopia 2zdjęcie 1-kopia 3zdjęcie 2-kopiazdjęcie 3-kopia
