Allesandro Dell Acqua of No.21 knows what women really want from fashion- timeless pieces kept in casual colours with an interesting touch. And the Pre-Fall’14 was not any other- this is the reflection of cool Milanese street style that women desire. From easy-to-go sweatshirts with checked shirts to affordable flowless dresses, here is everything you need for a stylish day. What I love about No.21’s attitude is combining simple skirts with lace sweaters or sequined dress with slip-ons. No.21’s perfection is not kept in practicality, but in the beautiful details!

Women
Miuccia’s World
Everything done by Miuccia Prada works on me. Her SS14 collection for Prada was the best collection of the season! Art, fashion and women power was never so linked together as now, when Prada’s theme of the collection are crystals, fur and prints… I was just on the press day of Prada’s SS14 accessories, and I should say, I am mesmerized. The nerdish sandals never looked so good. And then heels? Oh My Prada God. These acidic colours were so amazing! The Resort 2014 inspired with Hawaii is also a piece of art- everything is so embroidered and fragile. My favourite is the red floral dress… Great for every occasion! In other words, Prada nailed it this season. As always.
Furious. Rick Owens SS14
Nobody expect this from Rick Owens. And possibly, even Rick himself didn’t think this will happen. Well… I don’t know how to start. Surely, this is the most Insta buzzing show of the season. Models, no, women, who totally broke the rules of a normal model sizes, went down the runway. But these weren’t just normal women from streets (while it would be already shocking!) but Washington Divas, Soul Steppers, The Momentums, The Zetas where… stepping and doing Zulu on the catwalk. These strange names are their dance group names, and it’s based on African dance that shows lots of furious elements. And, the collection was called Furious after all…
I definitely can’t say I didn’t liked the collection. The clothes were unfortunately boring, it felt entertaining to watch these ladies dance in slim clothes… I think that Rick definitely feels bored with the world- after the SS14 menswear were Estonian band Winny Puhh played metallica in alien language, definitely biggest attention was on them and not on clothes… But, is that really so important? To just have a nice show? That will do controversy and will be present on every fashion blog? For now I am more excited about this model chose than the collection itself…
Female. JW Anderson SS14
London Fashion Week have just started… and it’s first hot collection is over here! The J.W. Anderson for SS14 is like a round-up and something more of his all collections. This young, ultra talented designers who claims that fashion will never be art for him, is going to be invested by… yes LVMH, as rumours say. Will we soon see a first J.W. Anderson store in London? Hopefully. This collection is definitely one of the strongest collection of Jonathan- I loved all these textures that looked like origmi and these transparent tops with black elements look marvelous… maybe it is not to pracitical since boobs will be seen and a bra would surely spoil it, but the world of J.W. is always shocking. Anderson is famous for his menswear collection full od skirts and dresses, and is mostly known for his gender mix aesthetics… However this collection is very feminine. And I like it!
Simbolismo Religioso in Fashion
Very soon I am going to visit Florence, the magical capital city of beautiful Tuscany! As I am now in a Dolce Vita mood, so a bit inspired with Dolce & Gabbana that may not feel so sweet life for a moment, I thought of the religious symbolism in fashion- not of this season, but from 1960 year when Cristobal Balencaiga designed his bridal dress with nuns head dressing inspired hat to Les Novices where Brigitte Bardot stars as a newcoming female nun that just don’t real know what to do and sins a lot there and there… I thought of Sevillas Santa Semanas holiday and the splendor of Vatican church that I truly love! And if Church women would wear Alexander McQueen Pre-Fall 2013, then it would perfectly match at Brugges nunnery. Although it all sounds very good, Kate Moss at W Magazine showed herself as a satan or a witch with sharp claws and vampire teeth… this editorial is very spooky! Just as Kristen McMenamy at opening and closing the Giles AW13 show, wearing a super scary make-up and anglican inspired gowns. As I am not really a religious person, I hope this post won’t make anybody offended. Well, it’s fashion!
