The beautiful Schumacher boutique is located in the Quartet 206 building, next to stores of Moschino and Brille 54. But first of all, what is Schumacher? No it’s not one of these not popular Parisian labels or something else this type. It’s super famous German label that is known for beautifully made clothes in pretty low prices! All German women have something from Schumacher, and it’s on the level of Miu Miu! Schumacher is design by Miss Dorothee Schumacher, that as she says, designs clothes for women to be completing their looks. Totally agree because every women wering this Berlin based label looks stylish and warm. Just as their woolen sweaters and beautiful, cute dresses. Plus, it is not copying famous designers like Givenchy nor Prada- it has it’s own style, with cute prints and colourful stones attched on the collars and scarves! And this boutique over here is definitely the best of all- with a characteristic Schumacher wallpaper showing their circular packaging boxes, and warm, simpatic pastel colours used on sofas and chairs. Berlin: Grosz
The Grosz Restaurant is the hottest place in Berlin recently, with it’s majestic interior of a renovated old building on Kudammstarsse. The food here is a mix of European and Asian- you can try here the shrimps, octopuses and clumps in Tempura and also roasted veal with thyme sauce and seasonal vegetables! Maybe the service is rude, but the atmosphere is really beautiful and relaxing after a exhausting shopping day. All cutlery is by Meisel, so pretty exclusive, and on Summer you may sunbathe with some champagne and beef carpaccio in their elegant garden. What more, there is a cute patisserie next to… This restaurant beats all other ones in Berlin with it’s classic, a bit Art Deco design, and delightful cuisine!
Berlin: Saint Laurent Boutique
As Hedi Slimane evolualize Saint Laurent, all the stores worldwide were totally refurnished. Now, all the spaces of that luxurious French house are all in marble and mirrors that I simply love! It’s just the rock and roll aesthetic of Hedi! Simple, minimalistic, but with balls. And the clothes that supply this store in Berlin… Oh my! Thanks to Hedi Slimane I love Mohair! The striped sweaters are really cool… And all these biker jackets! And grunge boots! Aww. ❤❤❤
Berlin: The Celine Pre-Fall
In the new Celine section in Kadewe, Berlin, the Pre-Fall collection arrived. Well, should say that on pictures all these clothes and shoes look real good- but live- and mostly the shoes!- it all looks horrible. First of all, the lacquered shoes with gold plate on it are very hard. The plate is additionally removable, and it looks like a typical men’s shoes! The black/white wedges are also a tragedy! The rubber wedge is made definitely from a tire or something because the odour from it is saw disgusting! The only cool thing was the thatched hat from the collection that is made in France! It is saw French! And stylish! But still, very not practical.
Berlin: Hotel Das Stue
Here I am in Berlin, in a new found hotel called Das Stue- one of the most prestigious Design Hotels in the world! And I should say I am pleased. It’s really hard to find a good, hot spot in Berlin. But this one, just few steps from the Berlin Zoo. There are two Spanish restaurants by mister Paco Perez- The Casual and Cinco. Not really good, but the design upinterior here is mind blowing! You will find here the coolest furniture by famous designers kept in strong colours!
The rooms are really luxurious- the shampoos are by Diptique, and all rooms have Led TV/computers. And it’s all accompanied with Jan Kath floors and Arne Jacobsen armchairs…the biggest feature of the hotel is the view of zoo and the localisation. It’s just next to Kadewe and the most expensive stores! Definetly, Das Stue is the moments hottest spot in Berlin!
