Stella Jean fuses ethnical influences with daily silhouettes like no other. She keeps the right balance between wearable kitsch and oriental hand-made craftsmenship – warm wool chunky knits embroidered with Hindu jewels; beige A-shaped skirt with hand-painted illustrations; kimono wool cut and made in Tibet; silk pajamas with cozy prints of Taj Mahal. For AW15 Stella, together with Ethical Fashion Group, debuted bags – made in ethical way in India from papier mache. Although this might sound a bit crazy, but the bags are really good in it’s design and durability. If talking of the jewellery, it exudes with tropical heat,
In Milan, Stella Jean is strongly valued not only by the store buyers, but also by women which really wear her absolutely fantastic designs for casual occasions. Re-seeing the clothes after the Milan Fashion Week was a real pleasure of mine! Here are more photos taken by me.
Laura Urbinati, an Italian stylist, is the owner and creative director of her own, name-sake label. One of her cozy stores in located in Milan, at the Sant Eustorgio place – and here you may find some truly beautiful clothes. Delicate patterns, warm colours, soft pajama shirts, bags by Mimi which are made in Italy and jewellery by Italian designers. The interior is simple – but is matches and exposes the clothes like no other. Also, the French brocade socks and Urbinati’s signature printed cushions are must-haves, too.

Aspesi store in Milan is one of these spectacular places, that you want to visit as often as it’s possible. The ground-breaking contrast of marble columns and plastic box tables makes the store not only attractive, but also an experience. Although the clothes by Aspesi always seemed to be a bit boring for, the interior makes you forget about the “every wardrobe’s basics” – ethnic colours, bold cushions exuding with gypsy bohemia, crocodiles jutting out from the walls, grandiose metal panels and gorgeous hangers – all of this make me drool and think, that there are no more rules in designing a store or any other concept. Fantasy and creativity is the most important, and Aspesi architects approve.

Martina Grasselli is the new-comer star of Italian shoes industry – after her latest AW15 presentation, I am in love. Her signature “rings” and “piercing” footwear is mind-blowing and feel truly unique. She has worked with Stella McCartney, Angelo Figus, Breil Milano, Jean Paul Gaultier, and Christian Louboutin, creating collections of accessories, offering her input both in terms of style and in terms of products. COLIAC, her brand, was founded in 2009 – it is a modern fuse of costume jewellery and tomboy-like shoes. It is characterised by an ironic tone with a hint of the surreal, artsy edge, making the shoes strongly recognizable not only in Milan, but also in other fashion capitals. Which ones do you fancy the most?
