This amazing coat by Prada comes straight from the runway of SS14. While the collection is spectacular and it reflects in perfect way how the fashion genius of Miuccia Prada links with art, this coat is definitely the must-have. With a printed face of a women (notice that one eye is embroidered!) kept in nice, earthy colour palette, the shoulder-point coat is surely a thing to invest. If you have a spare 3000 euros, of course.
Marni’s designer, Consuelo Marni, makes a renaissance movement for this label. Seriously, the last few seasons are really good. And this Pre-Fall’14 is even better! Having a bit of Prada feel in it (note those fur stoles and shoes!), the collection is warm, boheme and cool at the same time. Like a gypsy, the model wears not matchy prints with over-sized coats, socks, heels, scarves and huge bags, looking fresh and really stylish. That was really elegant collection. To death. Frida Gianini for Gucci created a very simple collection for AW14 using pastel and black colours. Coats. Wool sweaters. Black trousers. Suits. And that’s it. After seeing so much colour during the fashion week, this collection feels a bit sad and too formal. Fashion used to be fun at Gucci…
Obsession, Escape and Eternity were the keywords that guided the AW14 menswear collection of Calvin Klein. And this is nothing else than the names of famous CK fragrances for men… Now all the labels try to support their legacy as much as possible, so no wonder that this is a very good step for the New York based house. The collection was based on brown, olive and black colours; it was full of warm jackets, sporty sweatshirts and super cool wool shirts worn with matchy gloves. The collection got few looks I adore, but nothing behind it…
