Antwerp: GRAANMARKT 13

20140719-104324 AM-38604911.jpg
At the end of a square with 13 trees counted twice, there is a pretty large, cozy space called just like it’s address- Graanmarkt 13. Designed by Vincent Van Buysen, filled with palm trees, huge windows and various house decorations, we’ve got the most charming place in the whole Antwerpen. The store sells woman’s and men’s fashion brands like Isabel Marant, Marni or MSGM. You will also find fragrances by Maison Francis Kurkdijan… while the store itself is a fantastic place, they also have a beautiful restaurant downstairs which serves fresh and organic foodies. Graanmarkt 13 is not only a good place for shopping, but also a place where you must be while staying in Antwerp!

Berlin: Andreas Murkudis

zdjęcie 4-kopia

Andreas Murkudis is not an ordinary store. It’s a place. A place, where it’s the best to simply BE. Why? Well, the whole fashion elite of Berlin gathers here. You may see cool dressed dandies, goth madames, Raf Simons geeks or the Celine girls… the labels sold in here are very various. You may find the luxurious names like Dries Van Noten, Maison Martin Margiela or Celine and also the niche ones: Yohji Yamamoto, Kolor, Mykita or Marsell. Andreas Murkudis is also a location known in Berlin for organizing art performances, cool parties and fashion shows for young Berliner designers. In other words, whenever I come here, I find something new and not banal. This is my favourite Berlin spot.

Berlin: Grosz

20130727-103123 PM.jpg

The Grosz Restaurant is the hottest place in Berlin recently, with it’s majestic interior of a renovated old building on Kudammstarsse. The food here is a mix of European and Asian- you can try here the shrimps, octopuses and clumps in Tempura and also roasted veal with thyme sauce and seasonal vegetables! Maybe the service is rude, but the atmosphere is really beautiful and relaxing after a exhausting shopping day. All cutlery is by Meisel, so pretty exclusive, and on Summer you may sunbathe with some champagne and beef carpaccio in their elegant garden. What more, there is a cute patisserie next to… This restaurant beats all other ones in Berlin with it’s classic, a bit Art Deco design, and delightful cuisine!

Nolita

The restaurant that’s worth a visit is Nolita –  you can taste true sophistication here. The meals are extraordinary, just like the way they are served. Looking forward to seasonal ingredients, Nolita is beloved by Warsaw‘s culinary maniacs for a kind of  “out of this world” feel it gives to every dish. As the main chief says, “we don’t have anything frozen, only the ice in the refrigarator!” – at Nolita, modernism doesn’t mean ‘artificial’.

Brasserie Warszawska

20130222-103519 PM.jpg

Brasserie Warszawska is currently the most fashionable restaurant in Warsaw. It’s known for best quality, but simple food using best quality Polish ingredients and foreign goods like Dutch oysters or truffles. The interior is simple, while there’s a beautiful, old bar made of zinc. 60’s lamps ooze with Polish cinema old glamour. If talking of the food, it’s… awesome. Just perfect. The essential to try out? For sure take the signature plate of fried oysters for a try! When I initially put them into my mouth, they were so crunchy and delicate in taste. Meanwhile, others tried a beef tartar, and they loved it, too.
