Tuscany: Villa Sant Michele

There is this bad type of restaurants, where you pay more for the view and exclusive fog, than for the taste of food. This is all about the Villa Sant Michele’s restaurant that is located on the top of the hill. You walk in, the place is beautiful. But, a closer look, it feels a bit cheap. Then the veranda, so the restaurant. The view is AMAZING. Whole Florence seen in one place. So it’s all kind of OK. Until the food… First dish is a catastrophe! A warm tartar of scampi… Disgusting. Then meat tagliata. Looks like shit on the plate, isn’t it? And the most horrifying thing- peach semifredo. It was the biggest minus. It tasted like the cheapest one from a super market! No, this place is a big mistake, with it’s “REAL TUSCAN” atmosphere. Eeuuu.

Virtual. Christopher Kane Resort’14

“I love science” said Christopher Kane during his presentation of Resort 2014 for women. And this collection is seriously fantastic. Kane, inspired by the kind of digital imaging that defined the dawn of computerized special effects, did something that kicked everyone in their faces. This is like you’ve into a virtual world, where everything is 3-D and has it’s layers. There are women bodies and flowers. And now imagine, this world on a… sweatshirt or a dress! After AW13, I thought Kane’s creativity will be killed by the new group Kering that invests him lots of money. The AW13 collection was like very classical, colourless… luxurious. But now, after seeing this I am so pleased, that this absolutely great designer will be still shocking! The whole “computerized” idea reminded me of this little Pokemon fellow that is called Porygron. As you see, it’s also kind of virtual, edgy and colourful! From now, Porygron is the most trendy Pokemon in London! Going back to the collection, couture is strongly noticed. But a very Londonese. And I think that some super stars could for sure wear this black dress with the lily in the front- it is so beautiful! Christopher Kane is a really different designer- luxurious (price!!!) and at the same time artistic and full of idea. This is what I like!

From Rome With Love

I’m in Rome for a while and I have a real spring blast! Flowers, warm weather, art, beautiful architecture… So Dolce Vita! On the Spanish Stairs the flowers already bloomed. It’s so warm I just can’t describe it! On Via Condotti the Prada and Dolce Gabbana already have new fresh windows… It’s just amazing. And the buildings around… These religious details and paintings on the ancient walls of houses, fruits, greenery (this building that is whole in leafs is mind blowing!) and lots of orange around. My favourite colour!

Hotel Costes in Paris

Costes restaurant is located in Costes Hotel on Rue du Saint Honore and is fantastic. The interior, food, legs of waitresses… Perfection. The interior is kept in rich bohemian style full of fashionable parisian people and models. When you come in, you feel like in a elegant night club- it’s dark and luxurious. Inside there is a beautiful patio with open top, and around it are rooms for restaurant that is full of ornaments.

The food is delightful and scrumptious. My favourite- thai chicken spring rolls, butterfly chicken and of course tuna atlantic style! It’s in a soya and lime dressing with chilli peppers and lemon grass. Everything in this restaurant is perfect. And delicious! Thanks all to Costes brothers of course. J’adore!

Parisian Roses are the Best Roses

Sebastian Mengozzi is a one of the best fluorist in Paris. His cozy boutique full of fresh flowers is located close to Balenciaga and Givenchy, on Rue Victor Hugo. The spring in Paris is pretty cold so we thought to come inside the flower shop. And it was like if whole flower power of Summer attacked as in middle of Paris! Roses, orchidee, magnolias, pivons… Colours were so various and the scent! I couldn’t resist any mor an bought two beautiful bouquets of pink roses to our hotel!
