Homeboy. Rag & Bone AW14

While I have some relax time here in Myanmar (and Wi-Fi connection!), I have just met the NYFW for AW14… In this tropical climate I am now, I even can’t imagine wearing these warm clothes, but I must admit, that the first show served this week, Rag & Bone, is genius. In reality, nothing new appeared here- comfortable knitwears, jackets, cool boots and coats… But Rag & Bone makes it legacy even stronger and stronger with every season. The clothes make every girl to covet for it. Everything seems… To be wearable. And stylish. The collection had also a fantastic model army in it- Joan Smalls, Georgia Jagger and Sam Rollinson had it all on the runway. And their varsity jackets with embroidered names on! Definitely that was a lovely collection.

Men’s: Marais. Yohji Yamamoto AW14

Slide1-kopia 3Yohji Yamamoto made me amazed till now after this unexpected print mash-up. The designer who was the lover of black for a decade, made the most colourful, vibrant and beautiful collection for men to date. The AW14 collection is so amazing! The clothes… so over-sized (pants, coats, shirt, blazers) and full of Parisian’s Le Marais spirit! The prints were slightly oriental- flowers and snakes where all here. But still, the black hats, interesting models with colourful hair and the attitude of the collection made it cool boheme. For now- my favourite collection for AW14.

Gypsy. Marni Pre-Fall’14

Slide01Marni’s designer, Consuelo Marni, makes a renaissance movement  for this label. Seriously, the last few seasons are really good. And this Pre-Fall’14 is even better! Having a bit of Prada feel in it (note those fur stoles and shoes!), the collection is warm, boheme and cool at the same time. Like a gypsy, the model wears not matchy prints with over-sized coats, socks, heels, scarves and huge bags, looking fresh and really stylish. Marni does clothes for the “I don’t know what to wear, so I will wear something” days, and I love it. What do you think of this vibrant, colourful style?
