Marc’s Pyjama Party

Marc Jacobs, creative director of Louis Vuitton, Marc by Marc Jacobs and his own line Marc Jacobs, always knows how to draw attention to himself. And he did at always during different fashion weeks. First in New York, Jacobs presented Marc by Marc Jacobs, and ran out at the end of the show in blue/green pyjama and white sneakers. At Marc Jacobs, he had a more elegant pyjama- violet/brown from jacquard. And on the top of all, after Louis Vuitton in Paris, Marc wore a specially made pyjama with the recent LV menswear collection print.

Why is Marc wearing them? There is no real answer, only he knows why. But I’ve got hypothesis that because all the collection he designed had something “pyjama” in them- at MJ very elegant and stylish; at LV more boudoir and vintage- Marc Jacobs wanted to show with all his body, that he feels the pyjama v

Boheme. Dries Van Noten AW13

Mr. Dries Van Noten, that’s coming from Belgium, is going really boheme this time. First of all everything looks loosy and really affordable. And comfortable. There is a big gender mix- boy meets girl and girl meets boy. It is easy to see by looking just at the shoes! A lot of cashmere sweaters, midi skirts with fluffy feathers in multicolour, everything shines bright as always! A lot of flower print was seen and elegant garments killed with a nonchalant scarves. Very Dries!

And one more time- these dresses and skirts made out of some kind of feathers in fresh colours like red or yellow are great contrast for a grey top! Everything is different, but in a harmony state. Nothing is biting anyhing, but still it keeps a avant-garde tone. Paris boheme from past would be stunned. And I do also. This collection is as great as the last one inspired with grunge and Kurt Cobain (it also had something bohemian in it)!

Brit in Milan. No21 AW13

No.21 is new great fashion star of Milan that is known for it’s super cool ready to wear collections. This season, Dell Agua, the designer, made the real Brit in Milan look! Great tailored jackets in brown colours, lots of sequins, leather and beautiful camel/pink colours were seen. The cloths had also a sophisticated but grunge look that was, I would say, easy to go!

There was a lot of fur in the collection and… Beautiful coats! These had straight clean lines, amd looked minimalistic. The British inspired element was for sure the romantic flowers print. It was divided thanks to a black leather belt.

Spice. Victoria Beckham AW13

Victoria Beckham is even hotter than coil in the fireplace. What to do to spice up your winter style like her? Be tuned on her talent! Because for NYFW Beckham really showed off with beautiful minimalism and use of materials. The main colour was indigo and violet. The blue colour on overloose coats that were presented was just mind blowing. Violet minimalistic shirts and black pants were totally on!

Then there was the yellow attack but with a peaceful and distance power. The yellow triangle on the blouse is just the key of the collection. And the 70’s like dress in lemon colour? Just a wish. Next trend of the collection was the brown pencil skirt that was full of grace. And the large doctor bag is back, the same as two seasons ago!

The last looks were totally black. But in a good and lite way! Victoria used a pony hair for the tops and dresses that gave a sophisticated touch. Oh and remember about the brown skirt with a long cut in front! (But still don’t know how it can help during a snowy day).
