Nicola Formichetti has made me impressed! This time everything was clean structured, warm and easy to go. There was a “modern comeback” of 40’s because of the sweaters with cool looking hoods. There were very neutral colours, like beige, pink and white, but the highlight was for sure the top with orange like fur on it! Looked so moderned! Perfect for street style. Nice, Mugle

Andy in Paris. Dior AW13
It’s the fifth collection by Raf Simons for Dior so far! And I’m saying it fifth time- Raf Simons, you are a new era’s fashion genius! This season, Raf was totally inspired with Dior New Look and Factory of Andy Warhol. The setting was wonderful- the silver clouds that were one of the biggest Warhol’s installation ever. The collection began with a classical remastered Dior new look in black and white colour. Then some amazing embroiderry came that showed women faces, classic pigalle pumps, flowers… And all in very refreshing colours!

The cluthes were amazing. All of them had a embroidered print of a Christian Dior pump in different colours. Although, Paris is definetly inspired with New York (for ex. Balenciaga), Simons keep the Parisian

There was a lot of mink coats and dresses with peplums- very femine and elegant. The collection was for now my favourite of whole Paris Fashion Week! It was crazy, non-chalant and at the same time very Parisienne and New Yorkish!
No Light. Gareth Pugh AW13
If you have a winter depression as most of people and want to make it even more noticeble, Gareth Pugh 2014 AW is just the right for you. Everything is dramatic, sad, deep and couture. Even the setting that is connected to the title of this post- no light! The windows were totally covered with timber. This is a talent to make the interior perfect for clothes!
Pugh showed his classics- leather gloves, capes in dark depressing colours, minimalistic plants on bottom of white maxi dresses…Everything is as for me a bit boring and totally not new. Like if Gareth didn’t make a progress but stopped in one place.

But I have to admit that the outfit were the model wears a overloose white t-shirt on a black maxi dress looks stunning. So different from others. Everything has a kind of Asiatic inspiration if talking about structure. Wide sleeves, Kimono long jackets, Japanese prints with some “dead” sakura trees.

And the at the end there was a couture vibe- black stiff feathers on beautiful dresses and magnificient head decorations. But unfortunately that was not the best Gareth Pugh collection. There were better and more risk taking. Maybe next time…
Beginning. Balenciaga AW13
After waiting about four months without knowledge of how will new Balenciaga under the wings of Alexander Wang look like, today in the morning, in Paris, the show began. The whole setting was in a old, but renovated Parisian building with white marble, huge mirrors, black and white tiles and spiral stairs. It gave a feeling of Balenciaga at time of Cristobal. So taking the seat with Olivier Zahm camera the show begins!
It all begins with a typical Wang touch- a elegant t-shirt, black trousers, fur and mostly casual elegance. But thanks god Wang didn’t do it all in a New York way- indeed it was all so Paris! Alexander Wang continued the sophisticated minimalism of Ghesquiere with super cool fur sweatshirts that looked like white marble and black dresses with open back… Sexy but delicate.
The furry sweatshirts are this seasons my favourite! They look so street style and modern! Mixed with laced leather leggins and a leather head decoration it is great! Only Wang could do it! And what about the shiny elegant dress code? I see it already on Carine Roitfeld, the real queen of french elegance!
The new model of bag is for sure the one from python witha a classical closing. It is a comfortabel handbag that is easy to wear but at the same time ideal for every event! The hit of the show was for sure the greenish jacket with shirling on sleeves and the complete of sweater with skirt that was toatally embroidered with something that looked like paisleys! Shiny!

Congratulations to Alexander Wang! Really the collection was great! I think, that Balenciaga from now on will not change diametrically, but it will be more sporty and hopefully better quality!
Boheme. Dries Van Noten AW13
Mr. Dries Van Noten, that’s coming from Belgium, is going really boheme this time. First of all everything looks loosy and really affordable. And comfortable. There is a big gender mix- boy meets girl and girl meets boy. It is easy to see by looking just at the shoes! A lot of cashmere sweaters, midi skirts with fluffy feathers in multicolour, everything shines bright as always! A lot of flower print was seen and elegant garments killed with a nonchalant scarves. Very Dries!

And one more time- these dresses and skirts made out of some kind of feathers in fresh colours like red or yellow are great contrast for a grey top! Everything is different, but in a harmony state. Nothing is biting anyhing, but still it keeps a avant-garde tone. Paris boheme from past would be stunned. And I do also. This collection is as great as the last one inspired with grunge and Kurt Cobain (it also had something bohemian in it)!
