Art of Miuccia. Prada SS14

Milan Fashion Week has always one label that I would most love to see first. And it’s of course Prada. But what kind of Prada- Miuccia really outdid herself for Summer 2014. The collection was all about Italian modern artists, and specifically, Italian female artist. The venue of the show was all covered with a kind of graffiti representing women in different sceneries- one in a jungle, second in a pink background. But all of them had one thing in common- their edgy way of dressing!
First look, first impressions- difficult colours for Summer and prints of women on skirts. Wow. Then embroideries. Then fur (just like Summer ago. Yes, this collection about geishas…) coats and again amazing prints. I thing this is one of the most collector edition season by Miuccia- well, every collection of Prada is like a limit edition, but this is really the type that is just begging to be found in wardrobe. Even one of these cute clutches or pair of these crazy shoes! This collection is simply… A piece of art that can be worn one women! Applause for Prada!!! ❤❤❤

Munich: Gold Rush!

The AW13 Prada collection is beautiful, but I didn’t thought that it so to that level! In the Munich Prada store I was really shocked with the beauty of the shows, coats, furs and dresses. Everything is so fragile and girly… The must haves for sure are the runway heels, and plaid skirt and a green runway jacket that looked really fantastic! And the men’s boots…

Louis Vuitton also has some golden treats for everyone! Their Dinosaur window displays are all in gold, and are really mind blowing! The pre-fall collection presented on the mannequins had it’s spotlight totally stolen by these big decorations!

Twinset. Marc Jacobs Resort’14

Marc Jacobs suprised! And in a good meaning! Well, I thought, that Marc would do something, you know, full of flowers, colours and everything like everytime for the Resorts. And that’s totally not true! The Resort is like a continuation of SS13 and AW13. Glamorous sequins, 70’s polo shirts and skirts, New York “Great Gatsby” epoque and of course… Stripes! The collection is very mature, totally not sweet and cute as last resort.
Is Marc getting a bit of inspiration from… Prada? Look at the blue stripes- and now see SS11 of Miuccia Prada. The crepe skirts are just like Miu Miu SS13 and use of fur in summer? Plus there are also lots of crystals that were in the 2010 Prada era… As for me that’s totally clear- Miuccia Prada and Marc Jacobs are life friends so why not? Will we see soon a collab of these two!
And back to the collection- Jaime Bochert looks beautiful here! Just as the collection!

Berlin: Prada Fur Party

On 8th of May I was invited to a exclusive party of Prada in Berlin! It was a presentation of new furs and exclusive gowns with the most classical and luxury bags of Prada only for order. Well, I should say I am really impressed! Everything in touch was very delicate and light, and the fabrics were of the highest quality as everything Prada does! The models (one from Poland and other from Croatia) presented the furs in different colours nd prints with magnificient silk under do. The dresses for illusion reminded the Great Gatsby ones I wrote recently, but these were all to order ones. And most beautiful was this black, long gows made of sequins and silk… That was a great event, with some gourmet appetizers and champagne- plus, small very Prada presents! Thanks a lot for this Prada on Kurfürstendamm strasse!

No Muses at Prada

This is what Miuccia said. That’s true. Who need muses? All women are muses for Prada, not only one, skinny starlet that doesn’t know how to count to three! The AW13 show is the best example of this what Prada thinks. Sexy dresses with cut shoulders, aviator sunglasses, 50’s red skirts, fur and heavy boot. This is the new “naive” girl of Prada. It’s sweet in own way but at the same time super sexy- the models had wet hair that were very hot… That’s the new beautiful “ugly chic” Prada presented many years.
