Girl From Loft. Band of Outsiders AW13

This is a story about a girl, whose living on Greene Street in SoHO, New York, where actually is the fashion week. She lives in a old but kind of youth spirited loft on the second floor. Her apartament is like about 65 m2. She likes to party hard at night, in day she is cool but a bit “strange”… She has lots of friends and enemies- but still she is amazing. I would call her a bit psycho but amzing. Wears a school girl velvet dress with white collar and tomboy shoes… The name of this story is Band of Outsiders AW 2014! The collection was great! Loved the knitted hats and all the dresses that were like school girls but with some punk in. Additionally, they were worn with black long gloves and flat shoes in white and black colour. And the plum colour leather skirts with some dot shirt was also a great composition. But the most impressing was last look- the velvet blue maxi dress with pink and violet embelished sequins- that was such a great ending! Hope to see more collections like this one by this label!

Spice. Victoria Beckham AW13

Victoria Beckham is even hotter than coil in the fireplace. What to do to spice up your winter style like her? Be tuned on her talent! Because for NYFW Beckham really showed off with beautiful minimalism and use of materials. The main colour was indigo and violet. The blue colour on overloose coats that were presented was just mind blowing. Violet minimalistic shirts and black pants were totally on!

Then there was the yellow attack but with a peaceful and distance power. The yellow triangle on the blouse is just the key of the collection. And the 70’s like dress in lemon colour? Just a wish. Next trend of the collection was the brown pencil skirt that was full of grace. And the large doctor bag is back, the same as two seasons ago!

The last looks were totally black. But in a good and lite way! Victoria used a pony hair for the tops and dresses that gave a sophisticated touch. Oh and remember about the brown skirt with a long cut in front! (But still don’t know how it can help during a snowy day).

Nomadian Elegance. Alexander Wang AW13

Here we are back in New York City, the American capital of fashion. The NY Fashion Week started with new ideas, new (furry) trends and colours. For beginning I chose Alexander Wang with his amazing collectio that I called Nomadian Elegance. When the model with a grey hoodie on her head, grey structured coat and amazing, long, black, made out of fur gloves, I knew Wang will be leading in the new season. Then came more and more sweaters, coats that remind me slightly of Parisian chick like Margiela or Celine. When the in-the-hoodie models change into without-a-hoodie ones, I saw some influences with Wang’s past collections- Sweatshirts with holes, and a lot of metallic youth vibe!And I really loved the origami grey dress with a metallic top on it! The model that closed the show was Malgosia Bela, a Polish top model who is starring now for A.Wang summer campaign. She came out in a minimalistic white blouse and pants, and in a beautiful grey fur. Malgosia looked really stunning! The shoes of the collection were also cool- black leather pumps and on them a grey wool sock! That will for sure gonna work for cold conditions!
