Christophe Lemaire shows you each season, that to be his woman, you shouldn’t buy new clothes every three months. His woman is about one piece of his clothing; a trench coat, a white cotton shirt or a cashmere sweater. And you simply mix it with your personal style! Lemaire simply does the transparent fashion- it isn’t provoking, but makes the crowd look at you and say “she is chic”. In his SS15, the Parisian favourite brought lots of white and cobalt- we had blue pencil skirts, and interesting white shirts. The culottes tied with a loosely worn belt looked stunning with grey mules, while the tunics had it’s perfect place under the classical mackintosh. Possibly not much. But the golden rule is says, less is more.

Parasols de Marseille. Jacquemus SS15
Cheer up! It’s the super cute Jacquemus collection! Stripes, dots, smiles… it’s all about the happy beach summer in Marseille, with colourful umbrellas and comfortable white shirts… and more. For his fourth, runway collection, Simon Jacquemus showed a very strong and good thing- he keeps true to his naive, cute style. White shirt, white socks, white Adidas. And a bit of boldness in posture of stripes and other fun shapes. This time, Jacquemus showed some body in his looks- a bit of leg, a bit of shoulder. And the wet hair simply reflected the summer mood! In other words- these pieces just make us want summer to come as fast as possible! L’Ete pour toujours! (pardon my french)
The Logo. Anthony Vaccarello SS15
First Paris Fashion Week show, and first impression. Anthony Vaccarello does logo. Even the wonder-boy of sex-appeal got touched by logo mania (read: commercialism). “Letters as a sharp graphism on the body. A wild, urban way to dress. I will be featuring prints for the first time in my collection.” Oh, I see. That’s why we’ve got the sweatshirts with A N T H O N Y V A C C A R R E L L O sign opened the show. Then we had also some very Versace-esque slim gowns (possibly an influence from Anthony’s SS15 Versus Versace debut in New York, earlier this month) with huge, gross A’s and V’s. But I still loved the leather pieces. And the skirts giving some leg to the models (like Mica Arganaraz or Binx Walton). This part felt much more Vaccarello-ish than the seriously Vaccarello-ed stuff.
Flamingos. Vika Gazinskaya SS14

Vika Gazinskaya, the smart-chic Russian designer based in Paris, have just presented her SS14 collection. As Vika is not only a fresh designer, but she is too a street style phenomena (just have a peep at Tommy Ton’s street snaps from Parisian Fashion Week), her new collection is a mix of minimalism and hand drawn prints of trees, flamingos and water. Kept mostly in pink/beige, silver polishing and white colours, the look book reminds of a light Summer somewhere on the lake. Gazinskaya creates each season her own characteristic style in her clothes, thanks too beautiful Russian craftsmanship and Parisian chic she simply got inside. Her new season collection is now available at Moda Operandi trunkshows!
Granny Party. Miu Miu SS14

Miu Miu SS14 was presented in a beautiful way during the last day of Paris Fashion Week. The collection was something more sophisticated than Brazilian polka dots or cat prints- that was a fashionable grandma party in Miuccia Prada edition. Kept in pastel colours, delicate coats and a bit kitschy dresses in the knee lengths looked chic but at the same time elegant. Just like one of these ladies from Advanced Style blog, the collection was very mature, and a bit reminded of artistic Summer 2014 at Prada’s main line in Milan. Embroidered ball dresses looked perfect for a ballet or opera gala and the shoes… Oh i love Miu Miu always for it’s fantastic shoes! So fairy-tale! The younger label of Prada is mixing old with new chic, and the fashion month… Ended today. So, now lets only wait till the next March for AW14…
